Hanging the Greens Saturday, November 21, 2015 Downtown West Chester The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce needs your help in getting West Chester ready for the Holiday Season! Whether you’re a resident, student, or with a company/organization we welcome your participation on Saturday, November 21st. Please volunteer part of your Saturday to enjoy some camaraderie while decorating West Chester, which includes hanging pine greens and bows on doors and windows of stores in the downtown area. If you are interested in giving a few hours of your day, click the register button below and complete the form below by Monday, November 16th. Chamber Day will be from 9:00am - 4:00pm (rain or shine). Two volunteer shifts are available: 9:00am-Noon or 1:00pm-4:00pm. Equipment will be provided. All volunteers will meet at the Oscar Lasko Youth Program Center for instructions & refreshments (YMCA, 1 E. Chestnut St.) Hanging the Greens Pine roping is hung from store fronts. Equipment is provided. However, you should bring a pair of gloves. You will need to be able to climb 6’ to 10’ step ladders. Remember to dress warmly if cold...you will be outside for most of the time.
