• WCUAA Service Project

  Details: Two service projects will be held during breakfast:
  Caps Project: Cap Kits are homemade learning manipulative made from repurposed plastic bottle caps that help youngsters practice emergent literacy and math skills at school and home. The Cap Kit Project at WCU has created well over one thousand kits for students, teachers and parents in the West Chester area as well seven other countries. Our Cap Kits also come with a free website address which gives access to hundreds of games children can play with the caps. Click here to learn more.
  The Philadelphia Veterans House proudly serves the homeless veterans of the Philadelphia area but we are always looking to give back to those in need both inside and out of our home. Our lunch letters are adhered to meals and snacks that are distributed out in the community during outreach efforts. Whether it's a picture or a note of encouragement, we are seeking to show each of our veterans that we care and they are not forgotten.
