• Alumni Ram Strava (Run/Walk) Challenge
  Time: Throughout Month of April
  Location: Virtual/Strava App & Social Media
  Event Details: Join the WCU Alumni Golden Rams on Strava for a month of active challenges and prizes. Walk, run, or cycle along with your fellow alumni all over the world! Purchase your WCU t-shirt to show your school spirit!

• History in the Making- Alumni Ancestry Series
  Time: Videos Premiere throughout Alumni Week
  Location: Virtual/Social Media
  Event Details: Have you always been interested in discovering your family's history, origin, racial and ethnic background? Do just that by participating in the Alumni Ancestry Series in collaboration with Dr. Anita Foeman, Professor in the Communications and Media department at WCU and Director of the DNA Discussion Project. • WCU Campus 2021 Ecochallenge
  Time: Throughout the Month of April
  Location: Virtual
  Event Details: It’s an opportunity for our entire campus community – students, employees, alumni, friends, neighbors, and family – to spend three weeks in April learning and taking action on a personally selected set of challenges in nine categories: energy, food, waste, health, community, and more. What you do as part of this fun and friendly competition can add up to a lifetime of positive change for you, your school, and the planet!   Event Details: This is Ramblings Live! but research-style. WCU faculty conduct important and engaging research on our campus and beyond. Join us as we connect with Professor Ellie Brown from the Psychology Department and two of her research students as they share their mission in leading the Early Childhood Cognition and Emotions Lab (ECCEL) which is dedicated to making sure all children grow up in cognitive and emotional environments that promote their flourishing.

• Ramblings Live! featuring Cherie Fishbaugh & D-CAP Alumni
  Time: 1:00p.m.
  Location: WCU Alumni Facebook page (www.facebook.com/wcuaa)
  Event Details: Our traditional Ramblings Live! where we catch-up with alumni and WCU community members from around the globe to find out what they've been up to and how West Chester University has impacted their journey. This episode features Cherie Fishbaugh, Director of Autism Services/ Dub-C Autism Program (D-CAP) and alumni to discuss the program and how it supports student success.

THURSDAY, APRIL 22- EARTH DAY!

• Plant Trees to Celebrate Earth Week- Gordon Natural Area
  Time: 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
  Location: Gordon Natural Area, located behind the football stadium on South Campus.
  Event Details: Meet at the kiosk at the main entrance at R-Lot at 10:00a.m. If you get there after 10:00a.m. instructions will be posted to locate the planting group. Everything will be supplied including trees, gardening tools, water, snacks, bug repellant, sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Wear appropriate footwear you don't mind getting dirty. • Adulting 101- Alumni Business Feature
  Time: 12:00p.m.
  Location: Virtual/Zoom
  Event Details: This webinar series is for West Chester University students, new graduates and young alumni to provide guidance on relevant topics and life skills associated with navigating life after graduation. This episode will feature a WCU alumni-owned small business sharing their expertise. Topic TBD.

• The Virtual Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony
  Time: 7:30p.m.
  Location: Virtual Premiere 
  Event Details: Each spring since 1963, the West Chester University Alumni Association has hosted the Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony. These awards are presented to WCU graduates who have provided a great service to society, received outstanding acknowledgement in their profession, and positively affected a large number of people. During this year's virtual ceremony, we will honor both recipients from 2020 and 2021. View the list of honorees!

FRIDAY, APRIL 23

• Beer & Cupcake Pairing (Dia Doce and Levante Brewing Co.)
  Time: 6:00p.m.
  Location: Virtual/Zoom 
  Event Details: Join us for a night of brews and bakes featuring two of West Chester's best! Pick-up your choice of Levante beer paired with Dia Doce cupcakes and join us for a virtual pairing event. Registration Closes on Monday, April 19th at 11:59PM.**No Delivery Available. All pairing packages must be picked up from the Alumni & Foundation Center (202 Carter Drive, West Chester, PA) on Friday, April 23rd between 12:00PM and 6:00PM.

• WCU Alumni Association Annual Meeting
  Time: 10:00a.m.
  Location: Virtual/Zoom 
  Event Details: Hear about all the latest news from your Alumni Association and join the conversation with our board members. The Annual Meeting is open to all alumni!
