Own a piece of West Chester UNIVERSITY’s history!
Named after Grace D. McCarthy, the first Dean of Women at West Chester University, McCarthy Hall was a dormitory on campus located at the corner of Sharpless and Church Streets. Although the dorm no longer stands, you can own a special piece of it! The mailbox doors were salvaged, and a local craftsman turned them into beautiful banks using wood from trees throughout Chester County (pictured below).
