Honors College Alumni Chapter

The Honors College Alumni Chapter was founded in 2014 under the auspices of the West Chester University Alumni Association.

OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Chapter shall be to promote the interests of West Chester University in all areas of academic, cultural, and social needs; to strengthen the Association through a strong network of graduates; and to increase alumni awareness of the University's needs, specifically as these needs relate to the Honors College and Honors Seminar Program of West Chester University. In accordance with the University’s Affirmative Action Policy, the West Chester University Alumni Association does not discriminate “on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, religious creed, disability, or veterans’ status. Nor does the Association allow any forms of sexual harassment.

OUR MISSION
The Honors College Alumni Chapter of the West Chester University Alumni Association is an organization that is dedicated to providing opportunities for alumni to engage with WCU, fellow alumni, and current students.

MEMBERSHIP
Any person having graduated from West Chester University’s Honors College or Honors Seminar Program is eligible for membership in the Chapter.  The following non-graduates may become members of the Chapter upon request: faculty members who have taught in the Honors College, faculty members who have provided administrative support to the Honors College, retired faculty members who have taught in the Honors College, or provided administrative support to the Honors College.

Temporary, provisional membership in this organization shall be granted to any student currently enrolled in classes in a WCU Honors College or Honors Seminar Program, but on a non-voting status. Official, permanent membership shall be granted to any student upon graduation clearance from the Honors College.
